Just to confirm, the electricity total for yesterday is now showing the correct cost for the DD rate, however, the live reading is still calculating using the non-DD rates 🙄. The gas for yesterday is still showing at the non-DD rates but the live reading for today is showing the DD rates. Just to prove that it can't be straightforward😂😂
This just gets more and more confusing. I would have just checked the tariff rates were showing correctly and assumed all was ok so well done for probing further. I really wonder if everything will ever be as it should be.
For the record... my IHD still has the wrong tariff rates but the daily cost calculations are correct using these wrong rates. Something works then 😂
Oh, and still no usage data in the apps since 7 July 😞
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

Indeed it is very confusing - I'm sure someone somewhere knows what the problem is - I just wish they worked for E.On!! Also, another little anomaly is that the Bright app is still showing the non-DD rates for both gas and electricity - I thought that got it's info from the DCC, and it last communicated with the DCC in the early hours of this morning - so I've no idea what it going on 🙄
whilst it took a while at least it’s done now. The prior costs are inaccurate as based on old unit price but at least it’s realistic going forward
im also happy I fixed. The price changes are positive. I know eon hasn’t had the best press for responding to customers but asking them to make dd changes and updating the tariff by WhatsApp has been fine

Well now that Bright seem to have correct data, maybe you could try unplugging the IHD and letting the battery run down, then plug it back in tomorrow and see if it resynchs with correct data?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

You seem to be getting there a little at a time. Good idea from @retrotecchie about resetting the IHD now. That might just give you the icing on the cake 🤞

I'm gonna wait a day or two just to see if it updates on it's own. All the changes that have happened so far have happened without me having to reset the IHD, so I just want to see if this is actually needed to get the thing to work correctly!!
