Great you did the right way. Ok an extremely long shot. What is this photo named? If it's a long name change it to a single short name and try uploading via go advance. Total long shot. π
It hasnβt got a name. I think Iβll just live with not being able to post it via the phone.
Thanks for the ideas π
Okay dokey. No name π€. Feel free at any time to let me know if you want to continue. I'll do some research if nothing else for my own interest. π€ͺ

Thanks π I don't know what you mean by a name. I thought you meant what I had called it or something and I haven't called it anything. It just says IMG_ followed by a number that is consecutive to all my other photos. I'm pretty clueless with tech (as you might have guessed π). Anyway... I can post photos one way or another by hook or by crook π€

Boy you had me worried saying no name. π IMG is what I was looking for. From the little research I've done Apple do have some quirks. As long as you have got a workaround then I can relax. You've also saved me from commandeering my good lady's phone and trying a few experiments. π You saved me from a good ear bashing. π
The workaround being I email it to myself from my phone then open the email on the PC and download the photo then upload it to the forum. A bit clunky but it works π

Purely food for thought. Try exporting the photo from the Photos.app to say documents on your phone. Use Files.app to check that you've exported to that location. Then try uploading that IMG_____ file, say using Go Advanced. It's sort of what you are doing at the moment but within your phone. Now did any of that make sense................. I didn't understand me π΅. Sorry. This might help sort of https://support.apple.com/en-us/1019...20them%20again.
Aha - you can also use BB Code tags to display images which are online.
This first one is just a normal upload from a piccie on my PC
However this one is an online image, wrapped with the [IMG] [/IMG] tags (I had to upload images of my meter to imgur, to provide images in a PM which doesn't seem to have the facility to upload images)
