Thanks for posting these rate cards - I agree that these rates are correct and confirms what I had lifted from MSE earlier today. ✔ Spreadsheet now amended with correct details from July onwards. 📅
My contract expires on 2nd June and I've received a new tariff as below
Next Flex
Our flexible tariff, where prices can go up or down with the wholesale market.
Variable prices.
No contract.
Discount if you pay by Direct Debit.
Energy Price Guarantee
Electricity
Gas
Daily standing charge
61.82p
29.11p
Unit rate
34.76p kWh
10.34p kWh
I come under the NWales/Mersey region where the revised max unit rates will be E= 31.10p kWh and G= 7.54p kWh. Granted that these don't start until July, I don't understand how they can be so much higher. Is it possible that they will be reduced in July?
the prices in June are limited by the governments Energy Price Guarantee which limit charges for a mythical average user to £3500 pa. The EPG was helpful but now the figures from OFGEM will be lower from July. The variable tariff moves up or down in step with the quarterly price cap.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

Those quoted unit rates look to be the current ones for your region. I've screen grabbed the list from: https://www.gov.uk/government/public...l-to-june-2023 . The Official Regional July rates ( hopefully available soon) will take effect from the 1st of July. So yes the rates will come down. 👍
As @meldrewreborn & @WizzyWigg have suggested, what you are being quoted there at the moment is the current Unit (kWh) & SC rate, as the Next Flex is our standard variable tariff this will automatically update to the new rates on 1st July when the price cap changes 😊

What about the unit rates for prepayment meter customers? will these be applied to those customers also? I am on Electricity Next Flex - Prepayment and my Day rate is : 39.10 p/kWh and Night rate : 13.62 p/kWh, will these be changed from 1st of July? as it has not been changed today, does someone have any information on this issue please reply. Thanks
Your new rates will be applied the next time you top up if you are on the card/key old style prepay. If you are on smart prepay, your new rates will be applied directly to your meters.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
