@WizzyWigg I think that there is always growth in anything we do and always room to learn new things.

I have learnt loads from the amazing senior members of this forum. Many thanks to them.
I have always said a good day is when I've learnt something new. ๐ -
@WizzyWigg
Absolutely love that motto! and yes, I am very grateful too for the senior members in this community, they have been an amazing support in educating and teaching new things ๐ค

@Bennie_EONNext
Not so much teaching new things. More just trying to keep the old ways alive! And a few laughs along the way never did anyone any harm.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -
@retrotecchie
What is new to someone is old to someone else.
All that is new evolve from old ideas.
Understanding the old ways makes resolving a problem in life very much easier. Back to basics.
What is new?? ๐ต ๐ -
@Tommysgirl
Let's be honest even these 'new ' EVs are created from old ideas and principles. The really clever individuals are those who take old ideas right back to ground zero and beyond. ๐ฝ๐ด๐ -
@WizzyWigg
EVs were around long before ICE cars became mainstream. I was driving an EV for work back in the early 80s. It took a hundred years for them to catch on again, but it will be very short lived. By 2040 the Government will realise the error of their ways and we'll go back to what has worked for a century with no major problems apart from lead in petrol and diesel not being the 'right fuel' for diesel engines.
EVs are not the answer. Not for another 25 years at least. There's a bigger problem needs addressing first.
Elon Musk has made the 'modern' EV more of a problem than a solution.Last edited by retrotecchie; 14-05-23 at 00:24.
