Ihd ran out of battery due to being unplugged whilst away on holiday. Now not connecting, have reset & restarted closer to the meter. Makes no odds. Time is 00:00 WiFi signal is the lowest WiFi symbol. Will.post a picture of I can. Any help greatly appreciated.

A photo of your IHD would a good idea. Then I'm sure one of our experts will be able to help.

Thanks for the photo. This is going to require one of our more learned forum members to pick up this thread. To me it looks like something is blocking the Wi-Fi signal.

Thanks for that. In theory yes, but the ihd is sitting on top of the electric meter as we speak. Eon have got back to me on what's app to sit it on top for 10 minutes. Will see if that comes to anything. Which I doubt. Will see 🤞

I'll keep my fingers crossed as well.
This was on the citizen advice website:
If your IHD hasn’t connected to your meters after 24 hours
Contact your supplier and tell them. In many cases they can fix it by turning your communications hub off and on again - you won’t usually be able to do this yourself.
Sitting the IHD right on top of the meter is not the ideal solution. A couple of feet away is likely a better idea. Too close and the signal can 'swamp' the IHD plus electrical noise from the internals of the meter itself can make things awkward. I'd be inclined to back the IHD away a little then restart it. If that still doesn't work, then a hub restart may be needed, which will need a phone call to Customer Services so they can arrange a restart message to be sent to the hub.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
