Can both Electric & Gas readings be on the same bill?
I have smart meters, but they say that they can only get to Electric reading automatically as the Gas smart meter is the wrong version? The Electric reading is taken on the 19th of every month, when do I need to take and manually submit my Gas reading to be included on the same bill?
Some people can't even get both gas an electric on the same bill for historical reasons and its not easy to resolve. However, if your bills do show both fuels on the same statement, you can submit manual readings for the gas just before the automated reading date for the electricity. Its not ideal but this is Eon Next we're discussing.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Thanks for that gem of knowledge, I will take and submit my manual Gas reading on the 18th to see if that improves things, if not, back to the drawing board for me ......
