Numbers from the spreadsheet are correct (as they should be).
Eon Next have got themselves in a real pickle over your account. Although the next reading 31st March has produced a -tive bill, the first BILL takes you to the date of 17th Feb when you changed tariff. The intial rogue 'final reading' of 34919 (where this has come from ???) has charged your electricity account @ at 28.195p/kWh exc VAT whereas the next - tive bill (generated by a reasonable reading) on 31st March has costed your units at the new lower figure of 24.174 p/kWh exc VAT. This should explain the large (and incorrect) discrepancy that is now thrown out as owing on your account.
Eon Next must therefore cancel all your bills generated since 17th Feb and issue the new electricity bills which should coincide with that kindly done by @WizzyWigg. 👍
Oh yes and compensation for you having to chase them to get it sorted out.
was told that they can't correct my bills as the system wont let them.
They need a billing specialist to review all of my recent bills and correct. They can't give me an estimate time frame to close this along with my complaint regarding the meter not working properly.
Can you also look at the bills going back to the start of this year and report back on the kWh Estimated Annual Usage figures. I wonder if your billing problems have been as a result of a wildly inaccurate EAU number being used at the change of tariff date back in February for the estimated read.
Good. It would be nice if they offered you a little something for all the hassle, stress and inconvenience, but at least it's (hopefully) resolved going forward.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
