Send your readings on or about the 20th of the month, then your payment will be taken in the First week of the month.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -

You are issued a bill on receipt of readings to be paid about 15 days later, so if you want the bill or the payment to happen on a different date, just change the date you submit readings.

@retrotecchie That is a great advice, if you also have that date fixed for your direct debit and you would like to change it, getting in touch with our customer service, will be able to support you with getting the date changed.
Of course if you have other questions feel free to ask :) -

I have changed my direct debit to 14th each month and bills are still from 23th -23th, I would like bill from 1st day of each month to last not from middle to middle. Any idea? -
@Waldi
Submit a meter reading on the first of the month. That will generate a bill dated last day of the previous month. Then, repeat every month and your bills will fall into the required format.

I do that, and then get a bill for 1st of the month, as you say. Unfortunately, I also get a bill based on their meter reading for the 22nd of the month. So I get two bills every month, which doesn't really matter because I pay a standard amount on 1st month by DD. You choose the payment date yourself online without reference to a human being. -
@GSimpson I appreciate you taking the time to give us an update about your query and I can totally understand why this can be a very frustrating thing to sort out. Assuming you have a credit standard meter, have you tried to do it the other way around ? Send in the meter readings around the 20th of the month and see if the invoice will sync with the direct debit ?
Although, if you have a smart meter, we will need to change the approach to this matter entirely.
I hope this helps! 😄
