Let's hope they get it sorted next week for people.

Hi, i have just Whats appd Eon and explained we have had oil since 1970 and no gas meter. Reply was its being paid if you're eligible by end Feb. I asked why I wasnt eligible and received no reply.

It may be that you are in an area that is mainly connected to the gas grid so just won’t get the payment automatically from Eon Next. You will be able to apply online through the government website in early March according to the link below. I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
I'm sorry if the information you've been given wasn't very clear. E.ON Next do not determine the eligibility for the payment the department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy have advised us who we should make payments to. If you haven't received a payment it doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't eligible, it just means that you haven't been identified to us as an eligible property by BEIS so you will have to apply for the payment through the government portal when it is live on gov.uk 😊

Seems many are still waiting for the £200 for non gas users. Nothing here but does seem some people have receievd the £200. Looked for the government portal but it seems that it is dues to open in early March.......which is about now.

Just a quick question...are you using oil for your central heating and where are you based.
I have a feeling, but hope I'm wrong, that using oil in Scotland may well be the problem. :-)
