One alternative would have been to make the payment to those without a MPRN and a low electricity consumption. Still not perfect but easier to understand and implement."
I can see that some have got their AFP, I was unsure how you know who is using different heating sources. I have oil and sent a message on WhatsApp but did not get an answer.
As this is the end of February can you please ensure I am included.

If you haven't received your payment by the end of Feb (28th) then you may need to apply on the governments portal when it opens. Suppliers have been provided information from BEIS (government body) on who suppliers should make payments to. It could be that you live in an area where there is mains supply (even if this doesn't include your property) so you may have been missed. The government portal is expected to open at the end of Feb so if you don't get a payment then you should apply through the portal on gov.uk website.

You may have to apply for this payment through the AFP Alternative Fund if you do not get it automatically - for example, because you do not have a contract with an electricity supplier.
Applications will open in early March.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@retrotecchie Hmmm, the change from 'late February' to 'early March' must have been made minutes after my post. There had been a link on the page you refer to, which led to 'Page not found', and I assumed that things were about to go live.
Latest word is that payments will be applied first week in February for GB customers, alongside the EBSS payments. That's from my MP who sits on the Energy Committee.
Payments for customers in NI will be made in January.
Perhaps you might have another word with your MP "who sits on the energy committee" and see if he can say why the Alternative Fuel Payment Portal is not yet open. No Payment for me from E.on Next by end of February and still no way to apply on the government website!
Sorry, I've been relegated to 'light duties' following a stroke last week, so haven't had too much time to chase officialdom recently but word seems to be 'early next week' for the AFP online applications.

Thanks for reply. Look out for yourself not me. Get well soon 😊 🙏
