More detail please i.e. are you on standard or pre-payment? Assuming you are the latter, are you waiting for voucher in the post? For those on Standard Credit, the payments have started to be applied to accounts today (6th January) - mine has as have many others. So I'd guess that those on pre-payments will be waiting longer for sure. Sorry if this is not the answer you want to hear. 😕
On prepayment smart meters we are not allowed to have vouchers… hence the charity that gave me £97 pounds EON would not accept. I never asked for a smart meter I was forced by EON to have one … now I suffer.

I will let others more knowledgable answer this one 👍
We’ll thank you for answering some of my concerns but I understand those of us on smart meters we didn’t ask for are being penalised for having them as EON won’t allow charity vouchers.
On prepayment smart meters, your credit is applied directly to the meter via the smart network. Only non smart prepay meters that require topping up at a payzone use vouchers.
It's every energy customer that pays a bill who is paying for your smart meter through our standing charges to the tune of around £18 a year. I don't have a smart meter but I am still paying for those customers that do have them.
When your smart meters were installed, you were either sent a letter containing a barcode, or would have been supplied a barcode on a card with the meter. You, the voucher, that barcode at a payzone terminal...£97 on your meter, no problem.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Have you actually taken your manual barcode to a Payzone and tried?
no because I don’t have a bar code… what are you all not understanding “The new type meters do NOT accept bar codes or any types of codes” nor does EON on phone.
