The discounts were applied to my previous three monthly payments prior to them being taken from my bank account, but January's payment was taken out of my bank in full.
I have not had the £67 discount that SHOULD have been deducted before the debit.
This is a large chunk of money that I shouldn't have had to pay and is desperately needed to pay for food and other bills.
They haven't responded to my direct messages via Twitter and I can't phone them.

@Han_EONNext posted earlier this morning that the January £67 discounts will be applied to accounts tomorrow (5/1/23). I can only assume they are being credited a day or two later than usual because of the New Year Bank Holiday. Not helpful for you if the full amount of your bill has already been debited from your bank account. The only good thing about it is you'll be £67 in credit towards next months bill and the February £67 might also be credited before your next bill is due.

Reason: Adding info
Thanks for responding, but a credit to my account (which is already £250-ish in credit) won't buy a week's worth of food.
I need the money.
As you already have a healthy credit balance on your energy account, it might be worth requesting a refund of some of it to replace the additional charge you've paid. It might take a few days to go through, but as you say, it's your money and at least it would be available to use before next month's bill / Government credit cycle.
How frustrating. If it's urgent, and it sounds like it really does need to be addressed, I wonder if any of the E.On Next community team here could help to escalate a request if that's what you want. I'm tagging some of the folks I've seen helping people on here a lot in case that helps: @Han_EONNext @Bennie_EONNext @Anasa_EONNext @Beki_EONNext

Eon have already been paid by the Government. It wasn't THEIRS to take in the first place.
I fully understand the situation, is it possible they could refund some of your existing credit back to your bank account? I don't know if they do that though. It's getting a response that's the problem, even if you can phone them the queues can be an hour or more. Sorry I can't suggest anything else.
