My account is showing that my (rather large) direct debit has 'not yet been applied', but it clearly has according to my bank account. Very annoying that the direct debit has been taken before the government discount has been deducted. I appreciate that this will make next month's payment less, but I too would have liked to have had it this month.
Yes, it has been collected from your bank. It has not yet been applied to the online statement of account. This is not actually that unusual as the online account sometimes takes a few hours or even a couple of days to update. When your account is updated, it will be posted on the correct date it was taken from your bank.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@PatriciaB
My direct debit for my gas bill taken on 3/1/23 is still showing as "pending" and "not yet applied". As @retrotecchie rightly says. this is nothing unusual. It can take a few days for the DD to show as cleared on your account but it will show the correct date it was debited. I agree it is not ideal your DD was debited before the £67 January payment was credited, but they are applying the £67 to accounts today, saying there is a slight delay because of the Bank Holiday. Funny how the Direct Debits were not delayed because of the Bank Holiday though!😀
