Due to a plumbing catastrophe, I'm not going to have the money for my DD after New Year, and need to change date to the 19th.
I can't access app because it won't send me a password (why we can't choose our own is odd).
Call centers closed. No one responding on twitter, except a bot with the intelligence of a 4 year old.
Need help
(Waste of time, thanks community)

Reason: Waste of time
Can you access your account online via the website, rather than the app? The only other option which I can suggest which might do the trick is go on line to your bank and cancel the DD, then reinstate it later on.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@retrotecchie
No, because I haven't used it before, it still requires they send an email with the password. 20 times now, nothing. Eon Next Community, was instant.
Anyway, thanks for asking.
Hope you have a great nught
Don't forget to reinstate the DD - if you get moved to a non DD tariff it'll cost you much more - £250 per annum.
When is your normal DD date?

Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I didn't want to go that way, but thank you for mentioning it. I just cancelled the DD.
Happy New Year my friend.
I agree it's not the most ideal way to resolve the situation, but it was all you could do at this time of year with Eon-Next Customer Services being closed. @meldrewreborn is absolutely right: Make sure you reinstate the DD as soon as possible to avoid having to pay a higher non DD tariff.
Happy New Year to you too.😃🥂
