I love a good series or boxset to binge but I've watched everything on my list so need some ideas. At the moment I'm watching Sherlock, I like detective stuff, a good drama or a comedy...

Have you seen Hinterland? A very good watch. All filmed locally to me here in Wales. I'm pretty sure they have it on iPlayer. A very gripping crime drama and Richard Harrington is brilliant in it.
If you fancy a bit of a chuckle, Raised By Wolves is also worth a watch. Think it is still available on My5.
Confession. I've spent most of the last two days binging on old Carry On films on ITV3.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
My only Christmas present this year was the complete boxed set of all Billy Connolly's 'World Tours'. I'm looking forward to trawling through that little lot.
I watched the documentary about him on telly last night. One of the few comedians who leaves me in tears and unable to breathe sometimes. Pure unadulterated comedy gold. The four words guaranteed to make me smile: Dwarf on a bus.

Watched The Detectorists for the first time today, found it very absorbing with some gentle humour and 'oh no' moments thrown in. Thought it would be boring but the exact opposite with 20 episodes available on iPlayer.
Another decent crimeish series set in Wales in addition to the excellent Hinterland is the drama Keeping Faith ( I think I may have seen that on Amazon Prime Video - not sure).
Another crime drama I really enjoyed was The Fall with Gillian Anderson (17 episodes of this on iPlayer).
Keeping Faith is on iPlayer. Didn't see it so it's on my list of 'stuff to watch'. My Uncle Bert died last year and he used to spend hours out and about metal detecting, so one half of me says I ought to watch Detectorists in tribute to him. The other half of me says I should watch it because Toby Jones is in it.

I couldn't find this on iPlayer (Keeping Faith). The Xmas Special of Detectorists was very watchable and Toby Jones was very good in it.
