Herself doesn't drink alcohol, and just has the occasional cup of tea. Her 'tipple of choice' is Raspberry and Apple sparking water from Morrisons. The empties did come in quite handy when I had to fettle my own drinking water before Christmas. They usually get used around the garden, either placed over the tops of bamboo canes to prevent accidental eye loss, or as cloches for seedlings in the spring. Any remains go into the local recycling scheme which means they probably end up polluting a river in Turkey or get washed up on a beach in the Philipines.
