I have still not had any communication via letter, email or messages in my account as to what the new tariff will be from 01 January.
The last update at the end of September only arrived with three days notice although the OFGEM rules and supplier Licence Conditions require 25 working days notice. So clearly this is the second time that the Licence Conditions are going to be broken.
The tariff is what it is. You have two choices...take it or leave it. Only, I like to have the information at least far enough in advance to set up my spreadsheet with the parameters for my Standing Charges and Unit Prices.
Any chance we will get this information before 01 January?
but I would like to see a firm confirmation of my unit prices and Standing Charges from the folks I pay my money to!

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@retrotecchie
I haven't had anything from Eon-Next about the new January tariffs either. I usually receive email updates when the rates change, but nothing as yet. With the Christmas Bank holiday days, there could possibly be a delay, but no doubt the new rates will appear on our next bills for usage after 1st January and I'll be number crunching with the calculator.
I was notified about the April price changes on 22nd February, in compliance with OFGEM rules. I then had a message on 27th September re the October price rises which completely broke the rules and now with only four days to go, still nothing.
@retrotecchie It may mean that you are not affected by the price rises in January. I have had an email stating my increases and new unit prices. E.ON Next don't usually create a table but I wonder if that's something we can do in future. Leave it with the team and they'll run it over to tech suggestions ☺️🙏
@Beki_EONNext. I’ve pointed out the benefits of EDF’s transparency on pricing to you several times in the past.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I think you’ll find all variable prices levied by E.On Next are increasing in January, and it’s only because the EPG is being increased that the net prices imposed upon customers is virtually unchanged.
If I’m correct , all variable price customers should be getting a notification.

The net result of any price changes after the new EPG discounts have been applied may just be +/- a fraction of a penny in either direction for both the unit rate and the standing charges, however those fractions of a penny soon ripple through a spreadsheet as whole pennies and eventually whole pounds.
Sure, once I receive my first detailed bill after January 1st then I will be able to retrospectively apply the necessary figures as used on the bill and everything will sort itself out and I'll be back on track again, but advance notice of any changes would be the accepted norm in any industry.
Of course any increases are unwelcome, however small, but I was pointing out to Beki that while some net prices might decrease in January, the E.On Next prices are not decreasing in any way.
From the announcement, Next have chosen to only communicate with customers who it negatively impacts.
@meldrewreborn I have asked it in the past, but as the community grows it is gaining more traction inside the business and we are seeing it's impact growing. I've raised it directly with the team who are running the communications around price cap and EPG to see if this is something they can do. ☺️
