Level 9221-12-22Lots of folks have been reporting the same issue. Usually electric works fine and it's that gas that usually causes trouble.
I'm not sure what the fix is because the gas meter talks to the electric meter and that sends the data through the comms hub. So it looks like comms is working.
Have a look on your app or online accounts and check that they have both the correct serial numbers for both your meters. -

It's intended to be run from the power adapter, with the internal battery as a short term temporary backup.
