    Hi,

Are there any instructions on how to read my dual rate meter please? I looked online and it mentions pressing a blue button but there’s no blue button…

    Thanks

P.S.: I have tried to attach a photo but it seems I don’t have sufficient privileges…

    Left, bottom part: EDMI ES-12B

    From the eon next website:

The screen on your meter switches between 3 displays. To see your meter reading, please use the 'IMPRT' screen.
If the screen moves to quick for you to take note of the value, you can follow the steps below:

    1. Hold OK until it enters the ‘Main Menu’, you will see ‘Billing’ appear
    2. Using the arrows, scroll to ‘Info’ (2 pushes of the > button)
    3. Hold OK until it enters the ‘Info’ sub-menu, you will see ‘Join’ appear
    4. Using the arrows, scroll to ‘WattH’ (10 pushes of the > button)
    5. Hold OK until it enters the ‘WattH’ sub-menu
    6. It will now display IMPRT with a value underneath. Please use this when submitting your meter reading.

After a minute of inactivity the meter will revert back to it's default display.
    If you're a 2 rate customer, follow these steps;

    1. Hold OK until it enters the ‘Main Menu’, you will see ‘Billing’ appear
    2. Hold OK to enter the ‘Billing’ sub-menu
    3. Using the arrows, scroll to ‘Advancd’ (2 pushes of the > button)
    4. Hold OK to enter the ‘Advanced’ sub-menu, you will see ‘TOUmtrx’ appear
    5. Hold OK to enter the ‘TOUmatrx’ sub-menu, you will see ‘RATE1’ appear
    6. Use the arrows to cycle the rates you need to submit (Rate 1, Rate 2, …)

Much simpler with a traditional meter. I will not voluntarily accept a smart meter until there are guarantees of service attached and compensation if those are not delivered.
