I've checked the citizen's advice site and it tells me that neither of them are working in smart mode so it is not that one is and one is not.
Smart meter that's not very Smart at all
-
My Smart meter can apparently read my gas but I have to submit electricity readings. Why is that? It always used to take both and nothing has changed in terms of supplier.

@Vikipollard
If neither is working in smart mode then you'll have to send both sets of readings from now on.
Dropping off the network is either an issue with the communications network provider, DCC, or a problem with the mobile network in your area if you live in the lower half of the UK.
Worth checking O2's network coverage checker for your postcode. See if they are still providing 3g coverage. They turned off 3g in my district and everyone's meters went dumb overnight.
If you still have coverage, then an email to hi@eonnext.com with 'Smart meters not visible on network' in the subject and all your details in the body might get them to 'prod' your meters for you.Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -
@Vikipollard Same problem but mine are communicating according to citizens advice only gas working now for meter reading submission and IHD started first week of October, I think something has gone wrong at EONs end. Perhaps someone can advice.
Electric now not working.
