perhaps you need to disconnect the supply to the IHD and let it run its internal battery down. Then, once it goes off, reconnect - like rebooting a computer.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@meldrewreborn I've tried your suggestion but it is showing exactly the same as before. Do you think it might have disconnected from electric meter and if so how do I reconnect please?
you'll need at least 24, preferably 48 hours to run the internal battery down. You can try moving the IHD closer to the meters themselves to see if it can re-establish connection. Have a look at the HAN light on the communications hub and let us know what that is doing, colour, Flash speed etc.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@janeta the signals come from the communications hub which is attached to the electric meter. The gas meter sends info to the hub and then onto the IHD.
I’m out of ideas on this one.
@retrotecchie Can you tell me what the HAN light is and what is the communication hub. I'm not technically minded 😏. I'll try in the morning, my meters are outside
Ok, you should have three boxes. A gas meter, an electric meter and a communications hub. The hub may be a separate box (e.g. Trilliant or Toshiba) or fitted to the top of the electric meter itself.
This hub will have several lights, including two labelled HAN and WAN. We ideally need a photo of the meter gubbins, or a description of what the lights are and what they are doing.
WAN is Wide Area Network which is the bit that sends the readings back to base and allows the meters to receive updates.
HAN is Home Area Network which is the communication between your hub and the In Home Display.
