Why, when I send monthly meter readings and pay by direct debit do I not receive monthly statements of usage. My balance credit keeps going up and up and I cannot contact anyone to sort it out? I have no information on how or if government payments are being credited

Do you have access to your account online, and do your reads all show correctly in your meter read history? A correctly submitted reading should trigger a bill, but I didn't see one for seven months between April and November this year.Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -
@retrotecchie, yes I have bills up to Sept 29th just before Gov finance package kicked in and then nothing afterwards - I have had 2 emails from Eon immediately after submitting my October and November readings to say "they will provide a bill and statement when they have checked that I have given the correct readings" -website just freezes when I try to access statements now (luckily I always download them so I have these - I can access Account summary when I click on get a Smart Meter (which I don't wan't). I've sent emails to Help address and no replies - as far as I know no-one from Eon has ever looked at my meter since I was transferred to them in December last year, but they sent out 4 vans and 6 technicians to install one of their Smart meters to a neighbour of mine (not really relevant but one of them could have looked to check that my meter readings were and have always been correct!).

Best advice I can give is drop an email to hi@eonnext.com with all your account details and 'Not receiving bills' in the subject. Can't promise instant results but that should hopefully get things chivvied along. -
@retrotecchie Thanks, Yep I've done that 1 week ago, still waiting for the chivvy to come back! Lol.
