Now, clearly they CAN access this forum, so have phone or Web connectivity...so surely some method such as a text code to a mobile or an email with the voucher attached would be far better than relying on the mail? These strikes aren't going away anytime soon. The postal backlog is just getting bigger and bigger.
@TeaAndTattoos Hy we've not had our December payment yet,it's a joke I'll be ringing them tomorrow and they can't say that it's the post , because IV had a delivery today ,
You may have had a delivery today, but that's not much help if your voucher is still in the backlog. One day of RM strike equates to two to three delays on the post. I received a bank statement yesterday that was posted on 19th November.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

I saw on BBC red button news , that there are about a million vouchers "unclaimed" because they're delayed in the post backlog. I received a Christmas card today which was posted on 1st December from a friend who only lives 3 miles from me (in Northumberland), and my brother who lives in County Durham is still waiting for his bank statement which was posted on 28th November. They don't seem to be sorting and delivering the post in "date of receipt order" (i.e dealing with post collected earliest first and working through each day in order, to get through the backlog), Now they are on strike from tomorrow, so no more deliveries before Christmas other than maybe a few parcels and Special Delivery tracked items. It would be much better if the energy companies could use emails or texts for e-vouchers.
