I’m pleased too if vouchers are arriving, but the strikes are causing huge backlogs in the delivery of mail and those are only likely to grow. Are there plans to use other means of delivery?
I recognise that the vouchers are intended for particular months and so cannot be posted early if that means the could be redeemed early, but could they be sent early with later dates on them, a bit like post dated cheques?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

Morning @meldrewreborn I believe that they have been looking into other means such as email delivery however the issue is that not everyone who has a prepayment meter has an email address linked to their account, can access the internet and some people with prepayment meters haven't even registered for an account which obviously causes an issue.
It is my understanding that the vouchers have a few months from date of issue to be redeemed however I am going to ask for clarification on this as I don't want to give false information.

@meldrewreborn just to confirm customers do have 3 months from the date of issue to redeem 😊
But the whole point of the vouchers was to help energy customers offset the increase in prices from October. Prepayment customers already pay higher prices than credit customers, so their costs are already disproportionately higher. Credit customers, benefitting from almost a £200 saving a year over prepay, get their credits in a timely manner and so should prepay customers. Telling folks they have 90 days to redeem doesn't help anyone who needs to top up now.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I agree @retrotecchie however it essentially boils down to we have no control over Royal Mail and when the vouchers will reach customers. As I mentioned we are already looking into ways that we can get vouchers out unfortunately these things can take time all we can do is offer support to our customers if they go off supply and are unable to top up.
I think it's important that customers also know that there is other support available, @Beki_EONNext posted a great thread a while back sign posting some of the support on offer you can find this 👉 HERE 👈 People can also contact our energy specialists if they are struggling to top up due to financial difficulty, there is help available for our most vulnerable customers, we have a team that look at each case individually and can provide extra help, support and signposting if necessary.

Well, this seems to be almost as big a problem as mail delays...actually getting through to an energy specialist....folk are posting on here in desperation as they are simply having no joy contacting anyone by other means.
Now, clearly they CAN access this forum, so have phone or Web connectivity...so surely some method such as a text code to a mobile or an email with the voucher attached would be far better than relying on the mail? These strikes aren't going away anytime soon. The postal backlog is just getting bigger and bigger.
