the supplier will write to the property asking you details. You can try the moving home link on the website, if you want but there is no rush. Take pictures of the meter showing the reading(s) in kWh - if there are storage heaters or similar there may be 2 registers. Google the meter model to find out how to do this. But it’s not an urgent matter.
Yes, and if the supplier has the property on supply with a previous owner/tenant, they will already have the information on file themselves. Perhaps not so if your property was previously supplied by someone else.
