I really want to know when is EON OR EON NEXT going to move with the times? we are in 2022 and some customer still cannot top up a prepayment meter online. There are people who live on their own, who are unwell and can’t alway leave their home to top up, And some of those people don’t not was a smart meter In their home, and they have a right to that choice.
if people don’t want a smart meter that’s their choice. But then they also deny the ability to top up online. Not that a smart meter guarantees anything as huge numbers are dumb.
A standard credit meter is the ideal answer, if only E.On Next had the inclination to allow credit worthy customers to change - but they don’t yet.
