@Tommysgirl
I applied for tickets to a show and they turned up a week after the show had been and gone. My postie is getting a box of biscuits mid January, BBE 27 Dec.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -
Still waiting for my voucher too. Why can’t the send it in an email? Also been waiting hours for someone to respond to me via the WhatsApp chat. Nobody answering the phone either.

Having same issue guys. My payment direct to my eon next account of £66 was made on 6th October then again on 1st November. Nothing received in December at all. They have said they will get back to me but have failed to do so. Something about my account being marked as ineligible. Heard it may take 3/4 weeks to resolve. Ridiculous they are not getting back to me and even more ridiculous if it is taking 3/4 weeks to resolve.

@Tonynortheast
yours is a credit meter. This is a different issue to the vouchers which are being sent to traditional prepayment customers by strike affected snail mail.
Anything unusual about your premises then?Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless. -
Hi. Thank you for your reply. Nothing unusual at all about my premises. It has a smart meter and I have received previous payments of £66 on 6th October and again on 1st November. The frustrating thing is a lack of response or explanation from Eon

Before I get 'tarred and feathered' there have been another factors slowing snail-mail down anyway - the sub-zero temperatures experienced in many parts of the UK, the fact that folk still send Xmas cards through the post (outrageous I know), a possible ban on overtime in some LDOs and a probable feeling of posties being hacked off at the well of Xmas tips having dried up PLUS the strike days. This is a perfect storm for a deterioration in the service provided by RM in December. At least all the ice has gone (at least in the NE) so the foot soldiers should be way more productive in delivering the mail until you realise the the next wave of strikes happen in what 2 days time!
This year the only card I have sent in December has been a birthday card - has not arrived - so I do fear that some of the vouchers will be delayed alongside all those vitally important NHS appointment etc etc.
For anyone sending packages in the future, don't bother with 1st/2nd class (Recorded is a waste of time as well) opt for Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 which is available finally to Joe Public but this needs to be paid for (and labels usually printed) online. RM invariably prioritise these tracked items (plus Specials) more than any other type of mail. -
@Sarah288, been waiting since 1st December and now it is the 23rd they do not like to tell you what is going on
