I have an Economy10 (the complex meter) in a one-fuel 3-bed flat.
Does someone know why I have a different tariff between the invoice and the website? (not a VAT inc/ex conflict).
The Website
Next Flex Tariff
Day rate: 44.56 p/kWh
Night rate: 18.31 p/kWh
Standing charge: 57.02 p/day
The Bill
Unit Rate (Day) 59.436p per kW/h
Unit Rate (Night) 34.437p per kW/h
Standing Charge 54.301p/day
Thanks @meldrewreborn I don't think this is the case, they have separated those in the statement. See attached two screenshots
The rates on the right hand side of your screen shot are erroneous. The rates used in the calculation look partly correct, and from the detailed computation if you take the EPG discount from the tariff rate and then add VAT you get to the bold figures underneath. But clearly the peak rate should be the night rate, and visa versa.
Sorry I missed this earlier.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Did you get to the bottom of that? I observe the same in my bills. I think the tariff on the website has the the 17 pence discount already applied. These days the numbers are even farther appart as the EPG is 31.84p.
@meldrewreborn that is true, thanks for the clarification. They explained it to me through a DM just recently.
I am still dealing with them to recalculate my bills correctly after discovering the transposing issue. @Mon269 I hope you don't have the same in your bill as well (Day/Night rates swapped).
