If it's on regular Freeview I'll watch something but, as an adopted Cardi, I'm far to tight to spend money on subscription TV. I have Freesat and Freeview which gives me enough to be going on with without having to pay for Sky or Netflix. The only thing I indulge in occasionally is Amazon Prime TV, but only because it's included with my Prime subscription.

Confession. ITV3 had Love Actually on again twice this week and I watched it both times. Even though I must have seen it a couple of dozen times and have the DVD, if I'm a bit bored and flip through the channels and it's on, I'll watch it. Sad sack, me, see?

I don't think I'll ever go to heaven myself. The world is already going to Hell on a handcart, so I guess I'll just hop a ride with everyone else.

So, have we got @SteffiT all sorted now?

I have all the main subscription channels via virgin - super fast broadband, sky & BT, data rich mobile sim, all for under £80 per month. It is a great deal, but what will the renewal be?

I find “ talking pictures” (it’s on Freeview) a useful source of old films and series.I was watching the rerun of Blakes7 on forces TV till they went belly up in the summer part way though the series - very inconsiderate of them!!

I tried desperately to catch up with Blake's 7 as I lived abroad for a year across the second half of Series 1 and the First half of Series 2. Still not quite managed it.

I had a bit of a 'thing' about Jaqueline Pearce, who played Servalan. Mind you, so did most of my friends, including a couple of the girls...

Nice one. Told you you'd be sorted eventually. I know when you see numbers like that on your bill, the heart goes eighteen to the dozen and the brain goes into overdrive, but we were convinced it was an error rather than a legitimate expense. Whatever...the outcome is now putting you in a much better place and I for one will also sleep a bit better tonight.

We may only be humans ourselves with no special superpowers but what we are good at (though I do say it myself) is making sure that no-one has to cope alone. With a situation like yours causing stress and panic, having a few others standing with you to help try and sort stuff is always a good thing. A problem shared is a problem halved and all that.

I for one will sleep a little better tonight. I do get a little 'invested' in folks problems so it's always good to hear that we can tick one off the list of outstanding matters.

Anyway, got there in the end which is all that matters.
