Ditto. I noticed that the other day. It seems to try and create an email address.

If, for example I now try to tag @meldrewreborn half way through a sentence, no problem.

But if I tried it after just, say, the words 'My comrade' at the start of a line.

My c@meldrewreborn. See?

Now one of us is using an iPhone perhaps, and I've used Chrome on a tablet and Android phone. Same same, la.

Again, if I tagged you here @Beki_EONNext then no problem at all.

But after, say, my dogs dropped you a line to 'Dear Auntie' ...

Dear @Beki_EONNext, the Auntie bit gets deleted. Ok, I can go and re-edit, but it's a pain.

But that's with just clicking the 'suggestion' when you start typing the name. If I try it 'freestyle'...
