Because it either hasn't been issued yet, or isn't showing on your account yet. It should appear anytime during the first week of December. My November payment happened to be credited on 01 Nov. The October payment arrived on 6th October, so the actual date can vary a little.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Do you pay by direct debit or some other means? If by direct debit and your bill arrived today, the payment from HMG will likely arrive before your payment is due. If you pay your bill by some other method (BACS or online) then I suggest you keep an eye on your energy account, await the payment and then pay any balance as necessary.
if you pay by cash cheque after a bill is raised this costs the average customer over £200+ per year. If you paid by DD after receipt of bill you would save that money. It’s your choice.

@MAW
I have today had £67 gone into my bank account that I pay my direct debit each month with. I got the £66 in Ocyober and November added to my account so wonder why they have sent me the money £67 this month. Does anyone know?
Timing. If the payment is applied to your energy account before the DD is due, the DD can be reduced. This is to do with a DD request going to your bank a few days before the money is pulled. If the payment won't arrive in time to alter the DD, then the payment is credited to your bank account.
Either or, your payment is £66 or £67 less than it would otherwise have been
@retrotecchie Thanks for explaining. Whatever the reason I will wait and see. I will keep the direct debit the same, as winter is here so it helps with the next bill going forward.
