I have received calls all day yesterday and today from 0808 150 9002.
many places are saying it’s a scam.
They told me I was in arrears and I needed to pay now, my bill was only generated on Tuesday, very pushy and hard to hear all the noise in the background.
I explained I am in hospital but kept pushing me to call back to set a direct debit up I do not want a direct debit set up.
I said I am happy how I pay my bills it’s never late always on time, then
after that another 8 missed calls from the same number
anyone else having that number call like this ?
Ignore it and block the number. The number is genuine, but it's being spoofed by scammers. E.On next don't phone you up to chase any accounts for at least a month after all other attempts have failed.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I know it's been a while but we've had a few reports of this number since and we can confirm that this is a genuine call from us. So please don't worry! 🤗
