When I first setup my account, my account showed that I had to pay £145 per month for just my electricity bills. I assumed that the rate is estimated, and can be changed in accordance to sending meter readings/installing a smart meter to show a more accurate reading of the amount of electricity my flat was consuming. Not sure how reliable https://www.electricitybillcalculator.com/yourbill/ is, but seems like theres a big difference because Im currently charged half of the £145 since its the 15th day of my billing month, but the calculator says that Ive only spent 30-40£ on electricity?

Reason: wrong terms
if you post how much you’ve used in that period we’d be better able to comment.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@meldrewreborn I realised that Eon next gave me an estimated reading of 34130 on my bill because I did not took a picture of the meter before I moved in which was on the 10th. I took it on the 15th however which was 34249, and its 32324 today. I dont think we've used over 100 units in the span of 6 days.? As we barely used 100 units over the 14 days since I took the first reading. Can this be rectified or we can't do anything about it?
so you don’t have proof of the reading on 10th. Assuming it’s not a smart meter, neither do eon next. Tell them you think the opening reading should be 34224. It’s really a question of whether you or the previous occupier pay for the disputed units.
if it’s a working smart meter you may be able to find a more accurate reading from your account online.
