Thanks for your reply, yes I have done that earlier in the week and it says it is connected, but eon are not getting a reading, that is why I wanted eon on here to check !.
Several possible causes. E.On Next have lost the connection to the meters from the data company DCC, or the 3g mobile network in your area is a bit sketchy maybe. Or they just need a prod to get things talking again.
Might be worth trying an email to hi@eonnext.com with your account details and meter reference numbers and see if they can give the system a bit of a nudge for you.

As @retrotecchie mentioned, getting in touch with our customer service, it would be the first step. Here's different ways on how to get in touch.
Although, I would like to see if we can give you some support straight away. Do you have an IHD (in home display?) If so does it show the readings?
If the connection with DCC is still on it should be a simple matter where the system gets re-booted and the connection re-installed within 48/72 hours.
In the mean time I suggest if you have access to the actual meter and online account to log in the meter digits that are currently showing to avoid bills based on estimates.

The problem seems to go right back to March. @Bettyboop44 has been very patient and posted photos in response to @Han_EONNext’s request back in June but help seemed to dry up. There was some email communication but the ‘Best Answer’ issue, that I have highlighted in the link below, threw the thread out of sequence…

I am still having to send in meter reads, link to Citizens advice meter check says my meter is in smart mode and should be sending in meter reads, but it is not, have been sending in meter reads every week for ages, can someone sort this out finaly for me.
