Anyone help please. I have checked my smart meter and it is working, I have also been submitting readings both for gas and electric but the App is only generating gas transactions.
I have tried contacting Eon by phone but can’t get through and no response on messenger yet.
Just seems to be one problem after another with Eon Next totally fed up.
Do you have an online account as well as the app? If so do the meter readings show on there? It’s possible to have to wait a couple of weeks for a response from customer service. If you can phone at 9am when they open you may have better luck.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Sorry I should have said, no there are no electric transactions showing on my online account either. Smart meter is showing electric and have completed the citizens advice meter check and that’s ok too.
In your account you should have access to monthly statements. Is there anything on the statements relating to electricity use? How long have you had the account? How long have you had smart meters? Do you pay by DD? When did you last check a statement to see what you’re paying for?
Sorry for all the questions. The more information you give will make it easier for someone here to work out what is going on.
This is clearly more than a smart meter issue as your manual submissions are not being accepted. Ultimately, as an account issue it will be customer service that will have to sort it out.
