On the front of your meter somewhere there will be a little red light that flashes every so often. This is the impulse light and it will flash 1000 times per kWh of electric used.
If you use £4.00 by the time you get up, that's about 10kWh of electricity, plus the standing charge. In, say, 8 hours, that light will flash 10,000 times or once every 3 seconds at the rate you seem to be racking it up. Can you see the meter and see how often that light flashes? Then go round, pulling all the plugs, or turning off breakers one by one and try and identify if turning anything off causes the flashing to slow right down. That will help you identify what's eating your electric. Your gas doesn't seem too bad to me.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Do me a favour. Turn your oven off at the cooker switch and see if that makes any difference overnight. I had an electric oven once, recently, where the control dial had burned out, so the oven was ticking over 24/7. Even though the light was off, the element was on all the time, but at a low temperature. Cost me about a fiver a day

Sorry, the IHD is the in-home display. You will only have one if you have smart meters. I assumed you do as you’re talking about costs in £££s.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Right, that's a bit better, now only using about half the electricity. I take it you didn't actually have the oven on? It was off but you just switched it off at the wall, yes?

I think we're talking about the credit showing on the meter maybe?

Not sure. I answered the question about the IHD without realising the thread had gone to page 2. Doh! I’ll leave you to it as you’re working through methodically.
