I bought an Evrie Display Unit last week nearly £50 and as far as i can tell its working ok .. but on trying to send a meter reading it says the gas .. is too low .. then says its too high ... what am i doing wrong ??? Electric reading 00015805.85 Gas reading 00063218.02 .. I have asked Eon on messenger but lets face it thats a pain and i will wait god knows how long for a reply again thank you
If you have smart meters, then why are you trying to send a reading? Are you trying to send a kWh reading from your display when the reading you need to give is cubic metres? If you do need to send readings, send the numbers from the actual meters themselves, not the IHD.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
ahhh ... youd think wouldnt you but apparently my smart meter is the original first edition fitted in 2016 and now obsolete and EON reckon they cant get meter readings from it .. and yes possible in KWH ... so im clueless now and feel its was a complete waste of money
If your old meters aren't talking to E.On Next, then the tariffs, monetary values, costs and everything will be wildly out. Unless the meters are communicating properly and accepting tariff and standing charge updates, then any IHD information will be pretty useless, other than for remotely reading the meters actual readings.
In theory all SMTS1 meters should be migrated by the end of this year. In fact, more meters are dropping off line every month than DCC can even begin to keep up with.
Sorry, but your new IHD possibly was a waste of money.
