I've had a contractor turn up in the past to install a smart meter but then disappear again after saying my gas meter was too old and he couldn't just do the electricity meter. He said he would tell "head office". I've heard nothing.
How do I get a smart meter installed? Every time I press the link on the website (to request an appointment) it just directs me to my account page with no further ability to do anything about a smart meter.
Please help.
Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
My personal opinion is to not actually bother and simply give smart meters a very wide berth indeed, but YMMV.
