The stupid thing is I can see the half hourly readings in both the Hugo app and the Loop app! Surely if those apps can see the data from my meter then Eon should also be able to see it?
New Smart Meter - No readings
-
Had a new smart meter installed 2 weeks ago. We're on Economy 7. I phoned up Friday last week as no readings seem to have been sent even though we opted for 30 minute readings. Customer support did something where they sent a signal to the meter to try get it working. It seems this made the meter send readings from Friday but nothing since.

Your in home display gets its data from the meter via the communications hub attached to the meter. It might need rebooting (disconnect its power supply until it goes fully blank) or else it needs to be paired again to the communications hub.
The apps are probably getting their data from the supplier's servers rather than locally.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless. -
The home display is fine. It's Eon themselves who don't seem to be receiving the data! Yet these 2 apps are able to access the 30 minute data absolutely fine. -

As far as I understand it readings for billing are not the same as half hourly readings within E.On Next. Readings for billing will be requested at some specified day in the month.
You will see below that I don't have or want a smart meter - they seem to cause no end of problems.
