If you install an app called Bright which is free on your mobile phone and pair it with your smart meter display you can view your energy usage at monthly, weekly, daily, hourly and 30 mins intervals and I can view mine all the way back to January 2022.
I had a different experience, I had a target to reduce by 40%. Typical usage 0.69 and needed to reduce by 0.28
my bright app shows usage at the event of 0.197. I had my tv on, few lights. Kept on fridge/freezers etc. really the only thing I avoided was boiling the kettle. Didn’t do much else during that hour just to see how it would work
today received: You reduced your energy usage by 50% which means you'll get £1.50credited to your account
i was actually quite pleased how simple it was to keep the power levels down.
seems for others it’s not been the same experience though
Well done. I turned my consumer unit off at the main switch for an hour so didn't use so much as a watt. That's a 100% saving. Up bugger all on the deal, but saved myself having to put up with Eastenders on the telly and making the wife a cuppa. That's a winner in my book.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I have got the email which tells me the timings for the energy shift but the target values were on a web page which doesn't exist any more. I thought it said my typical was 1.7 kWh and to reduce to 1 kWh which was a 0.3 kWh drop but if it said reduce by 1 kWh then that could be the issue for me.
@retrotecchie from that, it seems to be some definite issues with the scheme, I guess the trial is part of getting that all working and hopefully they’ll be able to find out why it didn’t work for you and the others as sounds like you should have hit the targets
having to do more extreme like turning off fridges and freezers to hit those targets feels a bit much in a way and also I note that as it goes on average usage as we all got different targets. Might mean it’s easier for some than others

I can still access the webpage (via my phone as heard it doesn’t always access on different browsers?) and it specifically states my average and the amount to reduce by
Possibly didn't work for me as I don't have, or ever will have, smart meters. But yes, all the nonsense in the media about making tens of pounds, or even as much as £100, was just that. Nonsense!
I wasn't invited to participate, obviously. I was just making the point that I probably saved more energy voluntarily without smart meters than those with them did.
