For understandable reasons, customer services have been experiencing huge levels of demand, and What's App was down for a few days too. No excuse, but that's just how it is. The time you try to phone can also make a huge difference. 9am and 2pm seem to be the times with the shortest waits.
Is there anything we might be able to assist you with?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Well it rather depends what you need help with, to be fair...
That said, if it isn't something a community Volunteer can help with, then we are sometimes able to summon up some more targeted help. Only, we need to know what you actually need help with first.
If the second property is a rental you may not qualify for residential pricing. But if you google for eon next new occupier you'll probably get to where you can register- but two properties on one account may not be possible.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@MAW I totally understand your frustration and we are really sorry about the different waiting times. As @retrotecchie explained there are reasons behind the delays. It seems too understand that you wanted to register a new account to the one you already have correct?
Are you or will be a Landlord or is this simply a second property?
We will need to technically put the two different accounts in the same portfolio but you can register the second account online and then we will just need to merge them. That might be useful to save some time.
In order to get you onto the system at least, might I suggest you just register the second property as a separate account with E.On Next?
If you have the meter readings for the day you occupied the new property, you should be able to just set up a second account and leave the first as is.
Once things have been set up and are all running smoothly, you should then be able to ask them to combine the two accounts. Personally, I would keep them separate myself, but that's just me. Whether you can register using the same email for both accounts, I'm not sure.
thank you for replying to my answers. Do you have an update from your end ? @retrotecchie 's advice is not a bad one. If you manage to get your second property registered, customer service all needs to do is to link the two accounts into one portfolio and you would be able to access them both also online.
