You can't. unless your meter has a keypad to let you manually enter a top up code. You will either need to find your key, or order a replacement. In the latter case, my best suggestion is to be on the phone to customer services at 9am.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Do customers only have one key for a meter? I’m sure most households have multiple keys for their front door, so why not for the meter?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

Good question @meldrewreborn, customers do only have 1 key, the issue is that the key has to be programmed to the meter they have a little chip in and this stores all of the information. When you activate a key by slotting it into the meter it deactivates the previous key so it isn't actually possible to have more than 1 active at the same time.
