It's 8 weeks since I first contacted eon about our meter not working still no communication from technicians or anything feel like I'm being fobbed of with make believe dates for repair what can I do ?
@Rmacpherson I have been waiting since March to have my faulty meter changed. I call every week, only to be told something different, never get anywhere. I have put a formal complaint in as I was at the last resort, it has now been 8 weeks since complaint was logged and not one call or email from Eon therefore I will be escalating to the Energy Ombudsman. I will give an update if i get anywhere, i feel your pain!
Are you still able to get services? i.e., still get gas/electric its just the meter that's not working correctly?
They told me i wasn't a priority as i still had electricity. As long as they don't try and estimate my usage when they finally get round to it!!
you will be liable for payment for a reasonable estimate of consumption - presumably based on previous levels of consumption. Why there seems to be no priority to deal with meters that are not recording is beyond my comprehension.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
