I'm going to cancel my DD and just pay when the bill comes in, does anyone have the same problem?

I pay £200 pm but don't understand why it's so much? According to our Smart Meter we never use more than £2 per day ???

If you cancel your DD you will be switched to a higher rate tariff. You can pay by variable DD so you only pay for what you use but keep your DD discount.I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -

the ihd uses tariff data from the meter, but there is no guarantee that the rates are correct. I suggest you go into your online account, check the forecast of consumption and tariff details to establish the true position. If that demonstrates the ihd is correct then you need to have conversation with customer services to revise your DD down.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
