The whole thing is rather confusing, but rest assured, you'll all be £400 better off, or at least less 'worse off' when it's all done and dusted. As to what will happen after April...that's anyone's guess.
The November Credit will appear sometime in the first week of November, that is all I can say. Lots of folks are flapping because it hasn't arrived TODAY.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
My full DD went out today. I had budgeted for £67 to come off my DD but it hasn't. I was also advised to increase my DD again for December.
I'd like to know if the £67 , when eon receive it, will go straight to my bank account or is it credited to my existing energy account of which I'm already in credit.
@MackemMick
same happened to me I've tried to ring for an explanation after 40 mins gave up, I also WhatsApp no reply also sent a email you've guessed it no reply. When they sort it will we all receive a refund or credit to our accounts?
@retrotecchie
Great explanation, which is exactly like my account. My Variable Direct was taken in full on 3rd October, and on 6th October the Government £66 was credited to my account, so that has covered todays Direct Debit, and I am still the princely sum of £0.58p in credit. I expect the second £66 instalment to show later this week, which goes towards next months Direct Debit. As you so rightly say, the increase in prices means we variable Direct Debit customers receive the £66 and if the bill is more Eon Next take the difference. I agree it may work differently for Fixed Direct Debit customers.

The November credits haven't landed yet. Not so much a function that EON.Next have much control over, but when the Treasury pay the grants.
Interestingly just checked my in-laws account with Shell Energy and their account was credited today (1st November) with their 2nd EBSS payment (last month it was 2nd October). Makes you wonder why different suppliers have different timescales to credit the EBSS payments. Hope Eon are not sitting on a pile of EBSS ££££ accruing interest.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Indeed. There is no provision for an energy company to automatically put the Gumment's divvy into your actual bank account. The credit goes on to your electricity account. Apologies for any confusion.
@meldrewreborn
My first £66 was credited to my electricity energy account, and when I rang Eon Next last month, they said it will be the same for the remaining 5 instalments. I pay by monthly variable DD, so I'm not sure if the same method applies to fixed DD customers, but I can't see any reason why it should be any different.
