there are some lesser known tariffs which might explain this. But a picture of you meter and associated controls would help, plus the general area you live in.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless. -
3 or 4 rate meters are used for the old Flexiheat or Superheat packages. Do you have a tank with an immersion heater, and does Rate 3 clock up over time?Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

An ordinary single rate meter, or a dual rate Economy 7 setup will have four cables (tails) on the meter. L and N in from the service block, and then L and N out to the consumer unit. If there is another pair coming out of the meter, to a separate isolator switch or smaller consumer unit with just one breaker or Rcd, then that indicates you have a separate rate for your hot water.
These systems were common many years ago but the tariffs for these 'complex systems' are not supported by most energy companies...just SSE and OVO as far as I am aware. But a photo will give us more of an idea...I'm just working off the top of my head here!

When you create a reply, this button lets you add pictures. If you are on a PC, then you can just upload one. Not quite sure how it works on a smartphone, but I guess it's not too different?

@retrotecchie yes that’s what I am doing but not working will try on computer later thank you for your patience

The Horstman Telemeter Series K. A four rate meter designed for electric heating systems under the old Flexiheat or Superheat deals.
Rate 1 is conventional Peak/Day Rate, Rate 2 is your Economy 7 Night Rate. Rate 3 is for the hot water tank. Rate 4 would be used for night storage heaters but not implemented in your particular installation.
The day/night/heating rate switching is done by Radio Teleswitch (superimposed on Radio 4's Long Wave service) which is very legacy.
If you can zoom out a bit and give us a picture of the meter, consumer unit and meter wiring, that would help greatly.
Tariffs were rather complex and are only supported by SSE or OVO.
The Rate 1/2 is the usual Economy 7 setup, but your Super/Flexi tariff would have had additional heating rates, based on 8 hours of water/storage heating overnight, with the ability to have a two or three hour 'boost' during the day if needed.
The other thing you will find is that your account will have two separate MPAN's for the meter. One for the Economy 7 part, and the other for the heating part. For that reason, you would usually be billed for two lots of Standing Charge, unless you have a very specific type of tariff like Superheat or Flexiheat.
Have a look at your water tank too. I suspect it has two immersion heaters, one for the heating rate and the other for the boost.
