Any advice?
Gas smart meter not getting read by eon

The Gas meter is not providing readings to Eon. I am unable to add manual readings to my gas account, says details not available. The meter is working in smart mode according to the citizens advice web tool. My old pre-smart meter is still on my account and could accept readings if i had any.
Any advice? -

How long have you had the smart meter?
Has it ever provided readings?
If your old meter is still showing on your account, then your account details need updating which will involve a call/email/whatsapp message to Customer Services.
If the meter was a recent install, then chances are the updating of your account info will happen, but it may take a few days or even weeks.

It takes 6-8 weeks for a new smart meter to be fully commissioned, if this is a new install. If it’s not a new install then the meter swap probably hasn’t been recorded properly.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

@iwbrock so you need to contact customer services with details of the installed meter for them to resolve the matter quickly. Make a formal complaint as well.
