So been with Eon now for roughly 14 years. It’s the 29th October 2022 and I haven’t received my government energy support payment, researched whether other Eon customers have had theirs, all said yes.. Email Eon, they inform me to contact my Electricity supplier as according to them, they only provide me with Gas……..um, actually no, I get both utilities with Eon, always have. Now Eon are ignoring all contact with me. So, what do I do now? There’s no other supplier, so my supplier just pocket my ESP?
If you’re experiencing another energy emergency or urgent energy-related question or concern, contact us and we’ll sort it out.
We're always still here for you after 5pm or over the weekend if you need to report an emergency with your prepayment or credit meter. You can either call 0808 501 5088, or you can email us or get in touch on our social media channels.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

EON itself, or EON.Next? To the best of my knowledge, EON themselves only supply commercial customers here in the UK, who don't qualify for the £400 grant.
For domestic customers, yes. Commercial accounts are still handled by the parent company, as are domestic customers in Germany and North America.
Assuming you are a domestic customer and have been migrated to Next, do your monthly bills show both electricity and gas on one bill, or do you have two separate bills/accounts?
It may be if you have two accounts completely separate from each other, then they can't cross-reference between them for some reason.
Even if that was the case and your two accounts are separate, or not properly linked, your electricity account should still have received the grant payment.
They can put the word ‘next’ onto their name but they’re the same company. I joined Eon, then got letters saying I was now ‘merged’ onto Eon ‘next’. Either way, they are who I get my energy from, and now they’re saying I have not get my gas from them, not my electric. So who do I get my electric from then?!?!
I’m on prepay meters for both. I should’ve received vouchers but I haven’t. I’ve emails eon next. They say I only have had with them and not electric. This is not true. I have both with them and always have.
Ben prepay meter accounts should generate a statement. Are both of the meter reference numbers showing on your account and with the correct name and address against them. I once lived in a couple of flats with prepay meters and I just charged the key and off I went. For two years Southern Electric had no idea who was topping up the meter!
