I've not been keeping my eye on things for the last few days, but can somebody just clarify:
I can see I have now been moved from v19 on both electricity and gas to Next Flex.
If come April it turns out that the v19 tariff works out cheaper I will be moved back to that?
If that is correct it seems the most sensible thing to do - but, my major issue is I have had ZERO communications via email or post about any of this (apart from replies to my original emails asking about the fixed tariff and EPG). If I wasn't on these forums I would be totally in the dark about what is going on!
One other thing, my direct debit it still set at what it was for the v19 tariff, will this be adjusted automatically or do I need to contact E.ON Next if my credit gets to be too much? I'm quite happy to build up some credit, but not loads!
It seems so re moving back to V19 should the post-April 1st rates be higher than your v19 rates.
There have been no messages received by myself since the EPG was setup. All the information I have received has been via these forums.
Re the nominal DD set for your account (different than the actual amount taken), I'd suggest that you try and work out (at least for 5 months) what your energy will cost this winter, add a little buffer of maybe a month or even two if you feel you need to and, as I'm sure you'll realise, ignore the effects of the £400 total payments.
We are still waiting for more info from the gov and from E.ON Next re April so will update when we have some firm info.
I have recently given feedback about the lack of communications. I'm quite happy that we have the Community as a space to get this info out to you though.
Just had a bill come through and the prices are all over the place and nothing seems to match up to what I have been previously told! When will we get further comms and correct bills?
@BLD
most here are other customers who can’t see your bills and so have no idea what you are looking at.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@meldrewreborn Yes aware of that, just wondered if the eon team on here had any update on why bills were still all over the place and if anyone else had the same problem, as my tariff changed from v19 to Next Flex and back again several times. I've got a private message now, so should be all fixed :)
@BLD Sometimes a screenshot (with no personal data on there) can be really helpful for other members to help diagnose what's going on. They're often more eagle-eyed than me!
It seems very strange that I’ve had no correspondence at all detailing what was happening with my account. I was on smooth renew v20 that would have resulted in me paying more than the EPG until EON changed me to the variable rate. The statement posted a couple of weeks ago suggests that in April I’ll revert to v20 if that is beneficial to me but I’ve had no email and my account shows nothing about v20 anymore!
Was originally on Fix 1 year v9
25.431p/kWh
39.313p/day
Currently paying
36.474p/kWh
55.339p/day
Had an email saying its increasing in january,
if I'm understanding the original post correctly, it never should have increased from the original 25.431 as that's our fixed tariff price and it definitely shouldn't be increasing again in January.

Correct. You should not see any increases until this fix runs out (see other post in your other thread).
