Hi, Since Oct 1st I'v been moved on to tariff Next Flex– Direct Debit version tariff for Economy 7.
I contacted eonnext today to enquire about the off peak and peak hours and was told the following:
For Peak - All days 0500-1300, 1600-2000, 2200-2400
For Off Peak - All days 0000-0500,1300-1600, 2000-2200
This is telling me I have a total of 10 hours off peak which is fine by me but I can't understand why my tariff is called tariff for Economy 7 and not tariff for Economy 10
@owdippi
its probably a mistake - check your meter to confirm whether you are getting off peak at the stated times
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@owdippi also check the off peak tariff, as if you have managed to get on the allegedly non-existent (according to both EonNext and the ombudsman) E10 tariff the night units are about 15% more expensive than the E7 night units.
BTW do check your actual meter not the IHD as they do not always show the same timings. Our IHD didn't show either the BST or local offset so was wrong in summer by 67 minutes
